Following Madha Gaja Raja’s success, Vishal is preparing for his upcoming film, which will be directed by Ravi Arasu, who is known for Ayngaran and Eetti. Produced by RB Choudhary’s Super Good Films in their 99th production, the upcoming movie, formally titled Vishal 35, officially began on Monday with a pooja ceremony.
The actor shared the details and images and introduced that the team is beginning the first 45-day schedule for the movie in Chennai. Dushara Vijayan, in her debut collaboration with Vishal, plays the female lead in the untitled movie. The remaining cast members’ specifics are not made public.
The director previously disclosed the nature of the movie in an exclusive interview with Cinema Express, stating, “The upcoming film is a gangster drama.” Eetti and Ayngaran, the two films I directed before, were both intense. This next movie is being filmed on a large scale and is also very intense.
GV Prakash, who is working with the actor for the second time after Mark Antony, will compose the soundtrack for the movie. Richard M. Nathan did the cinematography, while Srikanth NB did the editing. The production designer is G Durairaj.
Vishal is also working on Thupparivalan 2 in addition to this movie. The actor also disclosed that he is collaborating with Gautham Vasudev Menon on another project, which he is more likely to finish before the Thupparivalan sequel, during the Madha Gaja Raja success meet. He added that he will be working on another movie with director Ajay Gnanamuthu. We’re waiting on official announcements about these projects.
